PRN Clinic Receptionist

Registers all patients seeking medical services at Community Hospital-Fairfax clinics and operates as the communication center for Community Hospital Fairfax clinic to ensure the needs of patients, staff and physicians are met.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.
  • Legible handwriting/printing

  • Typing required, previous clerical experience desirable.

Temporary Patient Transporter

Patient Transporter – Senior Life Solutions – M-W-F 

We are looking for an experienced driver with a good driving record, is comfortable with transportation and driving a van.  You will be picking up patients from their residence and bringing them to the facility for their appointment days and then returning them at the end of the day.  

QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED.  Great customer and patient service, excellent communication skills,  and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Current state drivers license. Clean Driving record

PRN ER Nurse Practitioner

Provide primary and emergency care to patients as defined in the Collaborative Practice Agreement and the Missouri Nursing Practice Act.  Services include but are not limited to ordering, conducting, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescription of pharmacological agents, treatments, non-pharmacological therapies, and other duties as assigned and delegated through the existing Collaborative Agreement.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing and an accredited Masters Nursing Program (for graduates after 1993 only).
  • Current State of Missouri RN License; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS. If required certificates are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.  Additional suggested certifications include NRP, STABLE, TNCC, ENPC, CATN, GENE, and ENLS
  • Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a designated Nurse Practitioner, i.e. Family N.P.
  • Emergency Room or Intensive Care nursing background required; ER or Urgent Care preferred.

Full Time Sterile Supply Tech. (Scrub Tech)

Preparation of patients, treatment rooms, equipment, supplies, and instruments for procedures, surgery, and examinations: for assisting Registered Nurses and physicians with patient care and procedures; the cleaning of rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment, including assembly and sterilization of supplies and instruments.  Serves as a scrub technician.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Sterile Supply certification preferred.
  • Background in-patient care services
  • BLS certification required; If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • Excellent organization, operations, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task is critical
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand medical terminology in order to follow written instructions and complete various forms and records regarding equipment processing and preparation of equipment.

Full Time RN (Days)

Registered Nurse for Med Surge Department DAYS: Primary job functions include providing and performing oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of patients.  Provides care by physician orders, patient’s treatment plan, policies and procedures and standards of care as well as acts as a resource person for other staff members.

Qualifications Include: RN: Missouri or Compact State RN License, BLS, ACLS. 

Full Time RN or LPN (Nights)

Provides total nursing care to assigned patients, guided by physician orders, the patient care plan, standards of care, policies and procedures, and the registered nurse; documents an accurate record of the patient’s course of treatment based on the patient’s plan of care and disease process.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the State of Missouri.
  • BLS certification required; NRP preferred. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • IV Therapy Certification

Full Time Radiologic Technologist

​Community Hospital-Fairfax is excited to add a Registered Radiologic Technologist to our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating patient care and performing radiologic procedures in a friendly, cheerful and helpful manner.

This position offers the technologist the opportunity to learn different modalities including MRI and CT within a fun and experienced team.

This is a Monday through Friday position with daytime hours. One six-hour shift of night call per week plus one weekend of call per month. Ask about our call compensation package.

Will be responsible for coordinating outpatient appointments, making patients who come in for procedures feel comfortable.  Performs x-rays for diagnostic purposes.  Follow established requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.

Qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • ARRT Certified Required and must maintain CEU’s.
  • Associates degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. If required certification is not current at time of hire, must complete within six months.
  • Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
  • CT and/or MRI experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and adjust to shifting priorities.
