PRN Clinic Receptionist

Registers all patients seeking medical services at Community Hospital-Fairfax clinics and operates as the communication center for Community Hospital Fairfax clinic to ensure the needs of patients, staff and physicians are met

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.
  • Legible handwriting/printing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Typing required, previous clerical experience desirable.
  • Good Telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Dependable, responsible, courteous, and tactful.
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records.

Environmental Services/Floor Technician

Under general supervision, performs a variety of general cleaning and disinfecting throughout the hospital. Will be responsible for maintaining hard floors and carpeted areas. 

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.
  • Previous experience in floor maintenance preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Computer skills.

Clinic LPN/MA

Works in the Family Medicine Clinic to provide care to patients.  Will perform rooming patient, taking vitals, history, medications and updating them into the patient’s chart in the Electronic Medical Record.  Will Make sure the chart is updated and then let the provider know that the patent has arrived and is ready to be seen.  Will assist with any other office duties as asked by the provider or head nurse in the clinic.  Some of these duties may include prior authorizations, medical record scanning into the Electronic Medical Record.

Qualifications include:

  • Medical Assistant Certification not mandatory, training preferred.
  • Current CNA, LPN, or RN license in the State of Missouri is required for these job titles.
  • Able to take Vitals and record them into the Electronic Medical Record
  • BLS certification required. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • Electronic Medical Record technology preferred.

Clinical Informatics Coordinator

Responsible for promoting the maximum use of the clinical information system to support and enhance the practice of nursing and medicine, and ancillary departments. Participates in system installation, redesign, or enhancement activities, assists with system maintenance, staff education and training, and IT a liaison for clinical, IT, and ancillary departments. Actively participates on internal IT committees and provides leadership for achieving meaningful use goals and support of clinical quality measures of the organization.

Qualifications include:

  • BSN in Nursing with Missouri License or other licensed healthcare professional.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
  • Strong collaborative management style.
  • Effective communication skills and organization skills.

Full-Time Surgery Registered Nurse

Proficiently provide quality patient care to the surgical patient with minimal risk to the patient

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Current Missouri RN License
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; NRP preferred. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • Minimum 2 years of Acute Care experience required.

Full Time Food Service Worker

This person will be performing a variety of tasks to provide patient and cafeteria serice.

Qualifications Include: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.  Ability to read, speak, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.  Must be able to make change and use an I-pad cash register.  Ability to work well with many types of people.  Familiar with kitchen equipment helpful but not required.

PRN Obstetrical RN

In this position you will be responsible for directing and supervising functions and activities in the OB unit; interpret and implement policies, procedures, standards and regulation to personnel, patients, medical staff and the public.

Qualifications IncludeGraduate of accredited school of practical nursing, Current Missouri RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required.  If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months. Leadership skills including organization, flexibility planning, delegation, supervision, and problem solving. Completion of Fetal Monitor Courses and other defined educations. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing skills, health care practices and techniques, and knowledge of OB skills.

Full Time Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist

To assure high quality patient care and service by being an integral member of the team in evaluating and providing optimal diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary care in a define specified patient care areas.

Qualifications Include: Graduate of an CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program, CRT credential, RRT preferred with the National Board for Respiratory Care.  Licensed in the state of Missouri to practice respiratory care.  Associates degree or equivalent education/experience.  BLS and ACLS required, NRP preferred.  Demonstrated Respiratory Care experience, hospital setting preferred. 

PRN Respiratory Therapist

Full Time RN or LPN (Nights)

Provides total nursing care to assigned patients, guided by physician orders, the patient care plan, standards of care, policies and procedures, and the registered nurse; documents an accurate record of the patient’s course of treatment based on the patient’s plan of care and disease process.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the State of Missouri.
  • BLS certification required; NRP preferred. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • IV Therapy Certification

Full Time RN (Days)

Registered Nurse for Med Surge Department DAYS: Primary job functions include providing and performing oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of patients.  Provides care by physician orders, patient’s treatment plan, policies and procedures and standards of care as well as acts as a resource person for other staff members.

Qualifications Include: RN: Missouri or Compact State RN License, BLS, ACLS.
