Clinic Receptionist, Rock Port Family Medicine, Full-Time

Registers all patients seeking medical services at Community Hospital-Fairfax clinics and operates as the communication center for Community Hospital Fairfax clinic to ensure the needs of patients, staff and physicians are met.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.
  • Legible handwriting/printing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Typing required, previous clerical experience desirable.
  • Good Telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Dependable, responsible, courteous, and tactful.
  • Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records.

Pharmacy Director, Full-Time

Pharmacy Director

The Pharmacy Director will be responsible for the overall operation of the pharmacy department.  The position requires extensive contact with the administrator, medical staff, nursing service staff, hospital staff, and nonhospital contractors (vendors, auditors). The Director will also be providing patient -oriented pharmaceutical care service including extensive cost-effective therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic drug dosing, medication use evaluation.

Qualifications include:

  • Successful completion of a pharmacist degree accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Degree program or possess a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy Degree with hospital experience required.
  • Licensed in the state of Missouri.
  • Lead/Supervisory experience preferred.
  • BLS

Registered Nurse, Med Surge-Days (2 Positions) (Full-Time)

Provides and performs oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of patients.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the State of Missouri
  • BLS, ACLS, certification required; NRP preferred. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete with in six months of hire.

MA/LPN South Holt Family Clinic (Full-Time)

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to provide nursing services in our Tarkio Family Medicine Clinic. This is a fast paced environment where this individual will perform tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and recording patient history, medications and history in the electronic medical record. This individual will assist with any other office duties as requested by the provider.  Some of these duties include prior authorizations, medical record scanning into the electronic medical record, prescription management, patient scheduling, supply management, and a variety of other tasks related to patient care.

Great communication and teamwork skills a must for this rewarding position.

Qualifications include:

  • Medical Assistant Certification not mandatory, training preferred. Current CNA, LPN, or RN license in the State of Missouri is required.
  • BLS certification required.  If certifications are not current upon hire, must be completed within six months.
  • Electronic Medical Record technology experience preferred.

Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Room, (PRN)

Nurse Practitioner to provide acute and chronic care to patients in the clinic setting as defined in the Collaborative Practice Agreement and the Missouri Nursing Practice Act. Services include but are not limited to ordering, conducting, and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies and other duties as assigned and delegated through the existing Collaborative Agreement.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited Master’s Nursing Program (for graduates after 1993 only).
  • Current State of Missouri RN License; BLS required; preferred PALS.  If required certifications are not current upon hire, must complete within six months.
  • Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a designated Nurse Practitioner, i.e. Family N.P.
  • Family practice background preferred.

Respiratory Therapist (Full-Time or Part Time)

To assure high quality patient care and service by being an integral member of the team in evaluating and providing optimal diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary care in define specified patient care areas.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program
  • Must have and maintain a CRT credential, RRT preferred with the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Licensed by the state of Missouri to practice respiratory care
  • Associates degree or equivalent education/experience
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS required, NRP preferred. If required certifications are not current at time of hire, must complete within six months.
  • Demonstrated Respiratory Care experience, hospital setting preferred.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills; creativity; initiative; good judgment; outgoing personality; and self-confidence.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and adjust to shifting priorities.
