The new home of Community Hospital-Fairfax opened on September 13, 2010. It is a facility focused on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. Larger and more efficient outpatient and therapy areas awaited patients. There are also 16 private inpatient rooms in which to care for acute care and skilled care patients, as well as obstetrics patients.
The hospital is a not-for-profit facility designated as a Critical Access Hospital. We provide 24-hour emergency services, diagnostic laboratory services, radiology services, and physical, occupational or speech therapies.
Community Hospital-Fairfax is not just a hospital; it is a tradition in our community which provides quality care as well as job opportunities for healthcare professionals.
The hospital’s services truly support life in much of the surrounding region. It is here where babies are born, broken bones mended, family and friends seek medical care, and workers and retirees alike receive access to both routine exams and specialists. It is here where relationships between healthcare providers and patients are life long, cherished friendships.
