Physical Therapy

Our goal in physical therapy is to restore mobility, improve quality of life and regain abilities that are used in daily activities. A program can be designed to help restore or recover from surgery, balance deficiency, sports injury, musculoskeletal pain, muscle imbalances, generalized weakness and difficulty walking.

Occupational Therapy

In occupational therapy, we strive to develop, improve and restore independence to any person who has an injury, illness or disability. We can help with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, home maintenance and returning to work. We also provide splinting, strengthening and fine motor coordination for various hand injuries or diagnoses. We also provide LSVT BIG therapy for individuals with Parkinson’s.

Cardiac Rehab Program (Available at CH-F only)

Cardiac Rehab is a customized outpatient program of monitored exercise and education. It is designed to help patients recover from a heart attack, heart surgery, or other forms of heart disease. Education topics include nutrition, medications, stress management, blood pressure and cholesterol in order to reduce the risk of further heart problems. The goal of cardiac rehab is to assist and develop an individualized plan to regain endurance and strength, prevent condition from worsening or future heart problems. We also work to encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle changes.

Speech Pathology

Our mission in speech therapy is to treat a variety of speech, voice and language disorders to improve quality of life. The speech therapist will complete an initial evaluation and create an individualized treatment plan. This treatment plan may include oral motor exercises, sounds, verbalizing, swallow studies and swallow retraining techniques.
